Back story:
Blue Mining Inc have been experimenting with interstellar jump drives, and deep space telescope scanners to map distant regions of space. The have achieved some degree of success in this project, with early experiments opening up a jump path to a distant Galactic nebula cloud of asteroids and dust where a remote station was established.. Unfortunately part of the technology was intercepted. The sector became overrun with pirates, AI drones and miners.. Blue mining turned all this distant activity this to their advantage however, turning all their deep space scanners towards this region to fine tune their mapping scanners..
