About This Server
Upside Down Universe v3
One of Europes oldest servers, rebuilt from the ground up in 2025 to match the desires of modern players using the popular Nexus to merge multiple servers into one universe, and our own custom Orion framework to enhance players experience beyond everybodies imagination.
Our servers are hosted on a 1gb/s fiber network behind a dedicated ddos facility in the same region. Using the proven AMD Ryzen 9 platform, NVMe drives, 64gb of ram, on a Tiny11 install, our hardware is capable with plans for adding more hardware to include SpaceEngineers 2 hosting in the future!!
Limits
We maintain reasonable limits designed with player roles in mind without hindering the solo warriors ability to get it done. Our limits are focused on maintaining server stability and player enjoyment, so are always under review by staff with the help of the players themselves.
Weapons
Custom UpsideDown weapons using the WeaponCore framework forms the core of the players experience with a plan to further enhance the player experience with more.
Languages
Currently English is the requirement when dealing with staff through our Discord server or in game general chat, but we have a chat replacement system in developement allowing players to speak in any language supported by SpaceEngineers without intefering with others.
Mods
We have many custom mods design in house by our staff that is updated frequently to suit the needs of the players, along with a few mods from the workshop that increases the players gaming experience either by addings more quality of life features, or more ways to play the game.

Our Universe
Nirol Sector
After the suprise attack by the Syndicate fleet, causing us to flee the SOL system, this the is new system we have relocated too. The regions below exist inside this sector, with each region hosted on its own server. This is the main region of space players will generally build their stations far away from others. You will not have any PvE encounters here but PvP is always a possibility. Base raids, suprise attacks, or trade stations of your own design. The sector is for the players with no special limits encountered by the other regions.
MacMadders Station
The main lobby to all our servers. All players start here or are sent here when their server restarts and will be automatically returned to their server when it is ready. You can also get information about the servers or expand your operations into other servers using this as a hub. This is a real location in the universe so you can visit anytime to show off your war machines to other players or pick up new members.
Khelek Region
A great staring point for all experienced players with an water covered ice planet to keep your generators running as you progress into more expensive technologies. I would not recommend settling down here but the region is large enough you may find a location close by to set up your base or manage a faction outpost.
Aquaras Region
A massive water planet. This is a large enough planet making hunting new players difficult (but not impossible). With the planets water, the deep depths are a great place to start your hidden base. The region is large enough area to support space stations but keep in mind this planet will attract players of all skill levels.
Limitar Region
This is a region for collecting high amounts of Argon Gas in high concentration to be used for powering the most powerful thrusters and other specialized tech we currently have to offer. This is a dedicated PvP area and does not allow safezones and
