New/All players can feel at home
From what I personally have experienced and know about SI server is the user experence for players new to S.E. and/or servers. I had finally had a way to start my journey into the world of computer games and join the ranks ofthe PC master race. A friend introduced me to S.E. and then to SI, and that was very early game, right into a PvP world. What a blast to learn that this game now had even MORE QoL (for me) material for me to look forward to. We moved to a PvE planet shortly after joining, but now to the main point:
As a very new player to the game in general, to servers, to the commands and rules of this server - we, I, were treated fairly and educated along the way. No hostility of any sort. my buddy got his pockets turned inside-out by someone (threaten to destroy what little he had built, which was good to us, unless he cough up his tech) then the dude knock him out LOL! I just watched, not knowing what the heck was going on. On chat, my pal was just saying he wanted his tech or ........, anyways, another cool wth moment for me was in the beginning. I had not known about beacons and signal transmission, just I had to have one on my grid and what not, to then have someone chatting with me in game and I not see it being directed at me. Then - BAM BAM - the ground and screen shaking, to realize I was being blasted at by a freaking (to me at the time) giant ship, pretty much a flying station, to get my attention. HAHAHA, they proceeded to tell me about my transmission and how it'll get me found and humbled. It came in close and interacted , then just casually floated off into the distant universe of Stone Industries. I stopped and said to my compadre, "WHAT THE F#@K JUST HAPPENED!? - THAT WAS AWESOME!!" JAJA, you had to be there, it was different for me and I have loved this game since then.
SHORT VERSION: Great for new and experienced players alike!
