Galaxy Strike Force runs a custom star system map with a Special Ore used to build a Special component for tiered blocks. We also have 3 Asteroid belts spread around within jump range to simulate an Eve style system to bring our players closer together with more interaction in a 2,000km limited world size. We house 3 separate special resource planets worked into a tired Tech block increase. I run a custom Ship Core cleanup every 3 hours and a triggered cleanup when more than 20 grids of wreckage are detected to manage wrecks. NPC Cargo Ships are enabled with a few custom ships and a lot of re-balanced or custom mods specifically for the GSF server. We recently implemented Ship Classification weapon and Shield restrictions to make ship combat more enjoyable with a sense of more realism which has been a big hit so far and old and new members alike have praised it's enjoyment bonus. We also feature Custom Sleeper NPC's that only spawn in certain defined areas for encounters. Sleepers are highly advanced and extremely powerful, their components can be salvaged to build their technology. Admin also host regular server events for bonus component rewards.
We have a large player base and active helpful admins and We typically have a 12 player average at most times. Sim speeds rarely drop under .5 even at peak 20 player loads with all of the optimizations we put in place.
